We will install your new gas fire to IS813 standards. Prior to fitting your gas fire you should have your chimney swept and a few other checks performed, you will also require purpose provided ventilation to be fitted via an air vent. As your fire burns it uses up the oxygen in the room - the vent provides fresh air for this purpose. After every gas fire installation several more safety checks will be performed and also a gas soundness test, you will also receive a certificate of conformance that complies to all standards set out by Bord Gais and in accordance with the NSAI & IS813 (National Standards for Domestic Gas Installations) Please contact Master Plumbing & Gas for more information.**CHECK OUT OUR REDUCED PRICES ON THE PRICE LIST PAGE**We only connect up gas ovens and hobs to NSAI & IS813 standards. If you are getting a new kitchen fitted and you are locating your new gas hob and oven in a new location, we can arrange to move all relevant gas pipework to the new location prior to your new kitchen being fitted, and when the kitchen is fitted we can return and connect up the new appliances. After every installation we perform a gas soundness test to ensure there are no leaks. Please contact us for more information. (MPG is a Registered Gas Installer)

We can install your contemporary gas fire from start to finish. We will prepare the fireplace to recieve the fire - this will involve breaking out your existing fireplace and building it back up (in some cases) to accept the new fire which is usually a much wider fitment. There may also in some cases be a few chimney or flue alterations to be made, these fires are usually set into the wall and are a flush finish. There may also be some plastering involved and we can arrange everything. After the fire is fitted and tested you will be issued with a cert. of conformance to the standards set out in the NSAI & IS813. (have a look at some of the before and after pictures of this type of gas fire in the gallery) Please contact Master Plumbing & Gas for more information. (MPG is a Registered Gas Installer)
